Today happens to mark the 8th anniversary of the last original Charley Brown comic strip that was printed. What I have been recently annoyed by is, not only is Charley Brown “tenderhearted” but he’s bald too.

I must say that I am a fan of these awkward youngsters, but I am very confused by the baldness. Look at that picture, that is not a kid with a buzzed head– we are looking at Homer Simpson hair. What gives? Also, Charley’s little friend Linus is not doing much better, look at his thinning hair!

I have no problem with baldness at all– I love bald people. But, a balding eight year old…

Did I miss the Sunday paper the week they said that Charley Brown had cancer?
