That’s right boys and girls. I purchased an iPhone. But, being on T-mobile (and not wanting to weasel out of my contract anytime soon) I had to go for a frist generation. Hey lets face it, I’m not made of money. I have had the phone in my possesion for 3 days and here is my assesment.
I am loving it.
Specs:
First Generation iPhone, iPhone 2.0 firmware, Pwnage Tool,T-mobile
Apps:
Terminal, Loopt, Cydia, NetNewsWire, Palringo, Remote, VNC lite, MxTube, eReader, Moroxxo, T4TwoFree, BoxOffice, Puluwai, WordPress, Google, Customize, BossPrefs, MIM, Molecules, Labyrinth LE, Launcher, Facebook
P.S. Did I mention that I love it…?
If you use an RSS feed reader to read my blog then you wouldn’t know…
I put a new theme up, and will probably change it again in the next month when I have developed the skills to make the site look like I would like it to.
Did you know that if you no longer want to be a US Citizen you will have to pay out the nose for it? According to the Heroes Act of 2008 you will. Passed on June 17, 2008 one section of the act will force,
“…anyone voluntarily giving up his or her citizenship will be taxed on ALL of his assets as if he or she had sold them — paying capital gains on assets that have increased in value, even though they have not been sold.”
I wonder why?
My sources are here, and here.
If you have not before I would encourage any of you to read George Orwell’s book 1984.
For those of you who follow my wife and her technological advances in blog reading will be deprived of my latest update to my blog: the Quote Rotator.
A neat little plug-in for Wordpress written by Luke Howell, and written well from what I can tell with my idots knowledge of CSS and PHP. After instalation there is an option to donate to his cause. The cause of “I don’t want to die.”
Which I think is a pretty good cause.
And a special thanks to Gthing who turned me on to the plugin.
